I gained extensive experience in estate and trust financial accounting, management, trustee advisement and structuring while managing the Trust Department at Duncan Cotterill, a leading New Zealand law firm.

Following that position I worked with Trevor Thornton at Grant Thornton, a national accounting practice where I gained a wealth of experience in business turnaround, receivership and voluntary administration procedures.

I spent a large portion of my time working closely with small to medium-sized businesses, assisting them through difficult financial times. I aided with the implementation of in-house systems, monthly management of financial information and reporting of results to directors and board members. These roles included providing corporate governance advice, implementing change, and liaising and reporting to financiers.

Since 2008 I have successfully grown my own accounting practice, servicing clients with $80M+ turnover, individuals that require assistance filing their personal returns, and everything in between. I am happy to assist any sized business, trust or individual that requires my expertise and advice.
